When was it founded, and why

It was founded by Mr Idris Vahed, in 1998 in an area along the beautiful South Coast in KZN.

What does your business primarily do or offer

Our business has 2 main aspects, the showroom wherein home lighting is displayed. At the showroom section of the store, we specialize in a variety of home lighting options ,namely garden, outdoor, office lighting and so much more. The 2nd aspect is the electrical, which is targeted for the Electricians and Contracting companies. This section of the business is done primarily on a big scale, catering solely for the needs of the targeted customers

What is your mission statement?

What is the vision for your business in the next 5-10 years? Our vision is to see a business progress so gracefully, that everything you require to purchase in terms of lighting, electrical etc, can all be acquired with just a tap of a button online, and to take it one step further, a system wherein you can place your order online, and come through to the store and collect your items of purchase via a drive through system. SO efficient, SO easy, all for you, our valued customers.

Our business was built from a strong foundation of a simple family, a dad, an electrician, together with the help and support of his dear sons.When one idea sparks a light bulb moment, magic can happen. 💡In reality, all it takes is the hard work, enthusiasm, dedication, and passion of a few individuals to create a beautiful store. Our core beliefs and values lies in a strong family bond and unity, with values of trust, optimism, effective communication and commitment, which then allow us to work together as one unit to ensure a fully functioning store for our customers.
